Lydia Hearst, Please Don't Break Gossip Girl

gossipgirl22.jpg The Breakfast At Tiffany's nod that kicked off last night's Gossip Girl will hopefully be the last of Jason Schwartz's ploys to ruin a good thing. Or will it? News arrives that Lydia Hearst, now that she's in acting school, is joining the cast for a bit part. First Michelle Trachtenberg, now Hearst. We give it 1.5 seasons before they're booking America's Next Top Model cast offs.

    I missed the episode, but thankfully I found this 60 second condensation of last night's show (http://www.236.com/news/2008/04/22/the_gossip_girl_premiere_in_1_6031.php) Now I feel completely filled in. And a little dumber.

    CariDee from ANTM was already on the show a while ago. Since she won I guess she's not quite a castoff, but close enough!
