Macaulay Culkin's Sister Dies At 29

Not a good week to be a sibling of a famous person. First Scott Ruffalo dies of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head during a game of Russian Roulette, and now Macaulay Culkin's older sister, Dakota, gets hit by a car and passes away.

Law enforcement sources tell us Dakota Culkin was walking on the west side of Los Angeles Tuesday when she stepped off a curb and was struck by a car. The 29-year-old Culkin was taken to the UCLA Medical Center where she died of her injuries yesterday afternoon.

Condolences to the Kieran, Macaulay, and the rest of the family.

"Isn't this the guy…."? You don't know who Macaulay Culkin is??? Are you from MARS?? You've never seen Home Alone or anything?

Anyway, This is a very sad and tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Culkin family.

I think the first paragraph was flippant and beneath you folks. What is this, TMZ? Some things just don't deserve the snark - I'd say losing a loved one right before the holidays qualifies.

I met him once. He was very nice… so I feel bad about his sister. :(
