After being kicked to the curb outside Donatella Versace's fashion house, Madonna is making a marketing recovery. Fittingly, she's signed on to be the face of Motorola's new iPod phone, appearing in the music playing mobile's advertisements.

The phone company is also in negotiations with The White Stripes, Little Richard, Bootsy Collins, Alanis Morissette and The Bravery, which hopefully means we'll have some more exciting default ringtones than "Hollywood."
