• Gossipy Hamptons rag Dan's papers sold for enough money to buy a "pretty nice" house on Amagansett Lane.

• Wenner Media and Time Inc. promoted a bunch of lowly staffers who you've probably never heard of.

WaPo's Tom Shales rates moderator Anderson Cooper's performance in last night's YouTube debates: "I thought he handled it about as well as you could. He said at the beginning, we don't really know what we're doing here, which was a good way to kind of make an excuse before anything went wrong. And a lot of things did go wrong technically." Nice! In a backhanded-compliment sort of way.
