This doesn't bode well for the debates on Thursday: Extra footage from CBS' interview with Sarah Palin revealed that when John McCain dropped by, the two candidates of the Grand Old Party got a little bit persnickety. Jossip's editor in chief David already pointed out that the McCain camp will be trying in the upcoming months to change the spin on Palin, but one really bad way of promoting the VP candidate that even conservatives are starting to distrust?
Blame the people interviewing her:
"Look, I understand this day and age gotcha-journalism. Is that a pizza place? In a conversation with someone who you didn't hear…the question very well, you don't know the context of the conversation. Grab a phrase."
It's sort of sad to see how far McCain fell from his 2000 run for the White House, when the man was the media's darling and held court on the Straight Talk Express with a group of likeminded reporters. Sure, he was defeated in the primaries by George Bush, but at least you got the sense that McCain was the affable underdog.
No longer: McCain now consistently lashes out at the press for their bias for Barack Obama, and it often comes across as petty. Case in point: McCain's recent cancellation from The Late Show, which irked Letterman and set off a whole chain-reaction of negative press and revealed that McCain wasn't so much "suspending" his campaign for the economy, as rushing down the street to save Sarah Palin from herself. If anything, Palin was added to the ticket because she attracts media attention, but as it become increasingly obvious that the former beauty queen is out of her depths, John McCain gets more and more curmudgeonly and unlikeable in his bitter defense.
Okay so, Palin said she wouldn't have a problem invading Pakistan without getting approval from the rest of the country, and suddenly reporting on that is considered somehow exploitative? The Republicans need to take the training wheels off of this woman: God forbid she ever makes it to Commander-in-chief, she won't be able to cry foul play when the media reports on her blunders. Sorry Sarah, you can't go invading other countries as a goof.

She super sucks.
The constant problem is the Bias of the Media. Why doesn't ANY MEDIA outlet ask Obama about ACORN? One of the PRIMARY reasons Fannie and Freddie collapsed - both were forced to support subprime mortgages targeting applicants who couldn't afford them but because they were mostly minorities the oversight bill written to reign in Fannie and Freddie died in committee killed by democrats on a partisan vote. Dodd and Obama received the largest donations to their campaigns from Fannie and Freddie. Obama recieved large cash donations from ACORN and was the lawyer for the organization.FACT not OPINION.
McCain camp tries a new strategy with massively failing results.

change the topic as fast as you can, ILoveAmerica, because if you let anyone talk about the McCain/Palin ticket for more than 10 seconds it's not going to end well.
change the topic, and keep changing it.
No just fair game deano…ask away about everything just make sure you're not covering up for Obama's lack of a teleprompter when asked an unscripted question…
I think the person who could use a teleprompter right now is……Sarah Palin! Cause, you know, she's a fucking idiot.
In the words of Republican writer Kathleen Parker…."It was fun while it lasted….but Palin is out of her league." Sorry neocons, your maverick made a rash decision in picking Sarah, and her lack of experience is showing, and no amount of spin can take that away.
Sarah Palin needs John McCain to fight her battles. She makes catty nasty remarks about her opponents. Obama writing books, Biden around when she was in the second grade, but, as soon as she meets her match, which she has in Katie Couric, she needs McCain to get her out of the quicksand that she, herself, got into. Couric has the balls to call her on her fabrications, her wrong answers etc….
That ticket is a joke and, if anything, it's a joke on the people who are trying to defend her AND talk themselves into WANTING her. She makes Dan Quayle look dignified.
