Michael Phelps Now a Legitimate Celebrity In Industries He Has Nothing to Do With
MTV next to splash into Phelps-mania
 


The DNC must be a media bust if this is the second Michael Phelps post in a day, despite the fact that the oddly torsoed Olympian hasn't done anything noteworthy in two weeks. Maybe NBC slating him to host the season premiere of SNL has confused everyone else into thinking Phelps is something other than a really good swimmer, since it's been announced the Phelps will be presenting at the VMAs next Sunday.

But as far as anyone knows, Phelps might as well be a deaf-mute. Has anyone heard him speak? Let's take a listen:

 

Ah, okay. He's passable. Not bad, not great, but whoof. It's going to be hard for whoever he's presenting with. They're going to look like Mini-Me next to Andre the Giant with bad facial hair.
