While you complained and complained about Angelina Jolie making $14 million off her babies, and other celebs (Clay Aiken!) getting much much less to shill their spawns off onto the market, there is at least one actress who knew how to reach the most amount of people with pics of her newborn son Henry: with the tweeny social network MySpace:
First of all…Minnie Driver labels herself as a "folk singer?" Unacceptable. But moving on…why would Minnie give her baby pics away for free instead of selling them for at least a couple grand?
One theory is that the baby pic buying business is getting so oversaturated, and magazines are hemorrhaging such money, that whatever offer Driver got wasn't worth her time. But instead of letting paparazzi grab the first shots of baby Henry, Minny took the matter into her own hands and released the pictures on the web before any magazine got an "exclusive." She still didn't see a dime, but maybe Henry helped boost some of her record (ugh) sales.

FYI–Jaymes Foster (the mother of Clay's baby) posted on Clay's official website that Clay did not receive ANY compensation for his recent story and baby pictures, not even for charity.

I was going to tell you also that Clay Aiken refused any payment for his baby photos. A know it all blogger PH and MSNBC passed along the story that he was paid. so much for honesty in journalism.

I agree, Jaymes Foster, the Mother of Clay Aiken's son did post on the official fan club site that he got no money for photos of the child and nothing for charity either. You can't beleive everything you read.
Can't help wondering who Henry's dad is, but I respect Ms. Driver's privacy. As long as Henry knows who his dad is, that's all that matters.
