Bored, suddenly rich widow bitch with an undeserved and cold, unforgiving superior attitude.. but she must show she is a feminist of some sort, having a boy toy lover on the side, servants and nannies to take care of the kiddos.. putting herself on stage for the big bucks, she lets her guard down now and then, the distain, sneer shows through in deep sighs of forced interest, rolling of eyes and grim face of about to explode if this interview goes on much longer, to taunt and scare the useless guest of their wasting her precious time.. and we know she's a rude, snooty jerk and everyone knows she doesn't believe or sanction what ever is happening or the story. Katie sucks and was never more than a pretend hostess, ..cheerfully reporting on the latest exercise craze and shoe styles, screeching when she had to taste Gulp.. eek food. Now, she's her own spoiled, crazy Dan Rather with heels and lipgloss.. all stiff and serious talking about suicide bombers in Iraq, tragedy of Americans who don't worship global warming and liberal Fascism and it just doesn't work for her to actually have to talk the the great unwashed while she is so superior; you should cowl, run and hide when she comes near you as to not spoil her day. There is definitely a type-casting problem, she can not do a better job delivering the news, she wants the news to go away and it's just her standing there pretty, stylish fashion and she waves and leaves. She tries too hard for gravitas and instead ends up over acting. Funereal.
