Nancy Grace Would've Preferred the Jews Be Praying While Shot At

Because she's glued to cable news networks with "Ns" in their names, Intern Wendy caught Friday night's Nancy Grace on CNN Headline News, where Nancy was on the verge of pulling a Mel Gibson. (Okay, she wasn't doing anything too anti-Semetic, but we've got few Jew references to go on this week. Well, aside from Jared Kushner.) Files Wendy:

It's obvious Nancy Grace is looking for blood. With world conflict taking away the focus from missing white girls, she'll take her gore anywhere she can get it, even if she has to make it up. Thus, her coverage of the shooting at the Seattle Jewish Federation on Friday:

With our political climate and what is happening right now in both Iraq and Lebanon, is this a response to that or just a good, old American hate crime that has now resulted in the brutal death of at least one, five others shot down at the Jewish Federation? Look at that. The panic that this — and this is their Sabbath. This is Sabbath for them. They are there worshipping.

As the police stormed the building, she offered this thought:

… especially at this time, at this moment, this is the holiest moment of the Jewish week. This is the Sabbath, on Friday night. And to go into a packed synagogue and open fire, I mean, for all we know right now — and we don`t have the report. We only know five shot. There are women, children, elderly right in the middle of the service?

Just one problem: I live in Seattle, and the Jewish Federation is not a synagogue. They're a social services organization. Our local news outlets (which her producers obviously didn't bother to watch) made that point clear.

Finally, Nancy admitted defeat:

It was not inside the synagogue.

Chalk it up to the uncertanties involved in reporting breaking news. Or Nancy Grace's job description, which calls for "having at least 15 percent of all viewers in, or near, tears."

She's not the brightest star in the night, but…. hey, as long as she pulls viewers away from Fox News, they (her bosses) don't care what she says, or even if she checks her facts before she opens her mouth. You know what all these guys do? They consider themselves News sources until they say something stupid. Then they yell, "Hey, I'm just a commentator and this is an entertainment show!". Do yourselves a favor. Leave cable and return to Network News. ABC, NBC and ABC. Wait, I take that back. Any network show that does NOT have Katie Couric doing the news.

Nancy Grace does not have mind over matter.

In her book, she propogates the outright lie that capital punishment is a deterrent.

She is crazed, disturbed, and symptomatic of our deluded decentralized society.

I worked in probation for ten years and I find her much like probationers who have committed crimes of passion and violence.

This, in my opinion, is not a psychologically stable person.
