We don't know if the photographer from People was inspired by the New York magazine article, or if family portraits of celebrities are just often taken on beds, but New York is struggling with their role in the highest paid cover story of tabloid times.
In between looking for an assistant for Adam Moss and dining at The Spotted Pig, New York found the time to dissect their predictions of the "Brangelina Baby" photo shoot to the real thing.
We all remember the mock cover they shot. The one showing photos of that hideous baby (we really hope it wasn't Amy Sohn's) being changed and breastfed by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt look alikes? Well, now New York wants to play their favorite game, "we were right about something and first about something" (JT Leroy, anyone?) with the photos.
Below, compare New York's interpretation with the exclusively owned People cover that is ok for everyone but bloggers to print.
Notice the two major differences: NYM predicted a boy, and the new savior is actually a (spitting image of Angelina) girl. Also, NY underestimated Angelina's maternal instincts. Instead of gazing lovingly at her new daughter, she is seducing her hot ass baby daddy.
(We just hope that look leads to Brad's dream of having 10 kids coming true, thereby forcing People to pay $4 million a pop to Africa, and Shiloh saving the world.)

For the record NY photos looked more REAL than the actual non real coupling of Brad and Angelina. The People mag photo proves what I have said all along…she is CRAZY obsessed and desperate for him and HE only interested in the kid! Sad, Angelina put her boby thru all that to entrap him and still he does not want her just the kid or Zahara if the kid is NOT his. As for the kid, it looks nothing of Brad and instead more like Ralph Fiennes, but especially like her brother James Haven who incidentially was present at the birth like an expectant DAD too! I would put odds on James for the genes DAD if I were a betting person. Strangely, she and James have the body language of a coupling than she or her mere one and a half night stand with Brad last summer til today shows evidence of… K
