You guys remember the Alycia Lane/Larry Mendte scandal, right? It wasn't that long ago that CBS3 anchor Mendte was accused of breaking into co-anchor Lane's email account and spreading all her drrrrty business (including sending naked pics of herself to a married coworker) to the gossip rags in Philly.

In the end, Mendte didn't get in that much trouble, while Lane had her career ruined, which may have been what prompted another disgraced Philly TV personality to get all crazy over one of his female coworkers.

Or maybe there just isn't enough hard news in Philly these days, the anchors are all turning it in on themselves:


Lori Delgado, an anchor fror the NBC-owned WCAU-TV, quit this week after being served with a legal notice from fired staffer and former friend Vince DeMentri. DeMentri was fired after being accused of keying Delgado's car, and now he is suing the anchor and the station for "sexual discrimination," whatever that means. If you key someone's car and you're a woman, do you just get to blame it on your time of the month?

Even stranger, this isn't DeMentri's first time grappling with another TV personality from his own station: "He was suspended at WCAU in 2006 for allegedly threatening weatherman Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz, who made fun of him for doing a flood report while standing in water."

When you get suspended for threatening a guy named Hurricane, you should be barred from retaining legal council. That should be a law.
