Donda West, Kanye’s Mom, Dies
Donda West, best known outside of the Chicago State University as Kanye’s mom, died this weekend.
The former head of the Chicago State English department, inspiration for “Hey Mama” and author of Raising Kanye: Life Lessons From the Mother of a Hip-Hop Star died on Saturday night from unknown causes, though some are speculating complications from surgery was the reason.
Kanye West was in London when he heard the news, and returned to the states to be with his family.

So sad. Poor Kanye. Poor mum. And if its true that it was for cosmetic surgery, what a tragic tragic waste of a life. If an intelligent artistic lady felt her body image was not represented anywhere in the media and therefore she had to amend herself, what hope for the rest of us?
Too bad what happened. With Dr.90210 and all the talk about plastic surgery lately, it's not a bad thing to be reminded that surgery is a dangerous sport.
