Obama Family Gets Best Code Names in History of White House
Team Alpha Omega

The Obama family has already been given delightfully awesome nicknames, and by "nicknames" I mean code terms the Secret Service uses to refer to members of the family, although since this shit is already leaked on the Internet it's not so much a "code" now and just more of an "awesome nickname," so my original point stands.

Anyway, all the Obamas have names now beginning with the letter R, and they are way better than those of the Clinton family, who were referred to as Eagle (Bill) and Evergreen (Hillary), or the Bush family which was Tumbler (George W.), Tempo (Laura) and Sheepskin (George Sr.).

If you guys ever want to use your ham radios to listen in to your Secret Service station, get ready for President-Elect Renegade.

• Barack Obama: Renegade

• Michelle Obama: Renaissance

• Malia Obama: Radiance

• Sasha Obama: Rosebud

Those are awesome. I hope he doesn't get any challenges from the original "Renegade", Lorenzo Lamas…

Um. These are OK but what about, Morpheus? The Falcon? The Brown Hornet? Green Lantern? Or what about Hancock? I think they could have done better, I mean, it's not everyday you get to have a code name. ;p

They're all pretty cool, but the names for the little girls are kinda adorable. Renegade is very, very fitting, I think.

Can anyone find out why we know these code names? We knew them during all of the recent administrations - so how are they "code"? If anyone was listening in - how is saying Rosebud instead of Sasha any more secure? This must be a PR thing, right?

as for Renegade< I think Secret Service is wise to him, the deserter.

Michelle as some old crap started up again (sounds right)

Bush actually looks like a monkey, but with half the brain of a monkey! Now, getting back to the subject - those are great nicknames! A clever writer could use the names for characters in a Comic Book or 'Graphic Novel' about a family of Superheroes (Not them, but similar to Brad Bird's animated feature The Incredibles)…I like it!
