Oh ABC, You're the Gayest
Congrats to Disney's broadcast network for earning the top spot on GLAAD's first-ever (!) "GLAAD Network Responsibility Index," which measures how TV shows depict the Gs, Ls, Bs, and Ts. Or, more precisely: the "quantity, quality and diversity of images." Surely Ugly Betty paved ABC's way, with its featuring the gay assistant, gay nephew, tranny boss, and Vanessa Williams. Meanwhile, Fox took last place, but mostly because The Simpsons is an equal-opportunity offender. [Variety]
