O.J.'s Prison Diet Involves Imaginary Animals

O.J. Simpson recently lost around 25 pounds in prison due to the poor meal selections of Nevada's Clark County jail. Apparently there was some kind of mystery meat served over at county that "looked like jackalope," although how that would taste different from rabbit is up for contention. Fortunately for the Juice, he's been moved to another correctional facility where the "grub's not bad." Maybe because they serve unicorn?

Same kind of mystery meat he got in LA's lockup. For a look behind the scenes of the 1995 Simpson trial and the dynamics that led to the not-guilty verdicts, and the profound long-term impact that trial has had and continues to have on judges, the media and public understanding of the courts, Jerrianne Hayslett’s book, "Anatomy of a Trial: Public Loss, Lessons Learned from The People vs. O. J. Simpson" (www.anatomyofatrial.com ), published by University of Missouri Press, offers revealing and unique insight.

I imagine Nevada Correctional is serving canned jackalope, which everyone knows is made from a variety of roadkills liberated by the state department of transportation, and may, in fact, contain little rabbit and no lopes of any kind. Real jackalope was originally cloned, I mean developed, in Area 51 in the early 60s, but limited grazing left the animals tough and chewy. Only until the government released their irradiated creatures free in the wild plains of west Texas, did the jackalope finally attain its lean and mildly gamey flavor, a true taste sensation for the conessuer!
