One More Reason To Hate The Hype Surrounding Bee Movie
jerry seinfeld should stick to nothing

gay-jerry.jpgJerry Seinfeld has been everywhere these days: attacking small time authors on the Late Show, chatting it up with Larry King and generally promoting his new animated feature, Bee Movie, like crazy.

If that weren't annoying enough, one of NBC-sponsored ads for the movie was bizarrely anti-gay, and not even in a funny way.

In the spot, Matthew Broderick is concerned about some fictitious gay subplots. Instead of defending the points with "not that there's anything wrong with that," Jerry insisted it's a family movie. Well, we guess Jerry's never seen All Aboard! Rosie's Family Cruise. Family movies can too be gay.

Jerry Seinfeld is a giant turd. I wish he would just. go. away. forever.
His wife is a thief, so he maligns the oman the thief stole from.

The article is gay. Was that not P.C. either?

Jerry is a great comedian who is an excellent family man that stood up for his wife. The man has entertained millions for years. Get over yourselves.

There was also just an incident on Larry King Live where Seinfeld chastised Larry King for kidding him about his hit sitcom "They didn't cancel you, right? You canceled them."

Jerry the Great apparently took this incredibly seriously and went off on King for at least 30 seconds, essentially calling him an uninformed hack and refusing to let King cue up a commercial break.

This incident was egoism at its worst. Remember, King's comment came only a day after Seinfeld told reporters "The thing about me is, they can't buy me off…"

King meant the "They didn't cancel you, right, you canceled them?" comment as a nod to that attitude, implying that Jerry's been nothing but successful, and perhaps they should talk about it. It was an attempt at humor to discuss the show's success.

Everyone's talking about how Larry King is somehow worse for this incident, but the only thing I see on this video is Jerry Seinfeld insulting the host of a show three times as successful as his own, and completely derailing their idle chit chat merely because he thinks his success has been questioned.

Between Seinfeld's rant at Larry King and his depiction of the other cookbook author as a wacko {repeated several times purely for comic effect, of course}, I'm guessing 60 Minutes is happy as hell they've found a replacement for Andy Rooney.
