One News Crew Attacked, the Other Rolls Camera
News crew brawl
South Carolina news station WSPA was on the scene of of a homicide investigation when the family of the suspect began attacking reporter Charmayne Brown and photographer Ti Barnes. How come? It's unclear what started things, though the white family began throwing racial slurs at the station's reporters. Nevermind there was another news crew on the scene; the white team of WYFF caught most of the fight on tape. Clearly they adhere to what we were taught in j-school: Cover the news, don't become the news, which explains why they didn't try to intervene.

It is a shame there were racial epithets thrown around. That unfortunately will take the lead over a story of a vulture preying on a grieving family, trying to invade their space, and rightfully got what she deserved.

ok im from this town and i cant believe this has made it all over the net. i dont know the family. i just hate this inbreds make everyone look bad. we're not all stupid! but if i was outside looking in, yeah id be calling us names too. ps this is also the same town susan smith drowned her kids in. hey atleast i can say my parents are northerners….i dont have a million cousins for potential inbreeding to happen

This guy here..lol Are you stupid the news crew was reporting about a murder someone from that same family commited and were on public propertey when being attacked yeah it's sad alright sad people like this still exist and people like you stick up for them .
