I call Bull Shit on this one. I think if Oprah had smoked crack in the past, she wouldn't have kept it a secret. She would've done a whole show about it.

Gurl (no. 4) is right. I remember vividly in the early 90's Oprah sitting on her stage (after she lost the weight the good way for the first time during the Get with the Program era) all booing & hooing then saying, I've done this drug. I've smoked crack.
It made the news that night, in fact.
(I remember crazy things like that, but can never find my keys in the morning or tell you my home phone number without looking it up in my cell phone. Go figure.)

So she smoked crack, big f**king deal. It's when she starts smoking meth, loses 200 lbs, and tells everyone that she's on the tic-tac diet should we worry. Let's face it — big O's fat and desperate. It could happen.

She is at the lowest point in her life and i will tell you why? Oprah does not KNOW how to love. She knows how to be loved, we all do, everyone wants to be loved, but Oprah never never learned HOW TO LOVE OTHERS…..so it is all coming back to haunt her now in old age, she realizes she does not KNOW how to love human beings. This is very very sad.

IN WHAT SURELY IS ONE OF THE MOST CLASSIC FREUDIAN SLIPS OF ALL TIMES, Oprah Winfrey released a statement yesterday saying she was "very disappointed" that Herman Rosenblat's faux Holocaust memoir was really just about an angel in his imagination.

But here's the kicker, here's the funny part: Oprah follows up by saying, "That's what happens with lies. They get bigger and bigger and bigger."

Crabby just about lost her breath with the truthfulness of Oprah's statement, because it is clear, at least to me, that she is subconsciously talking about herself and not Mr. Rosenblat.

Is it a coincidence that Oprah has ballooned as these revelations have hit the news pages? Don't think so.

And neither, apparently, does Oprah's subconscious.

Honestly, it comes off a little overdramatic.

I just saw the Clint Eastwood film "Gran Torino". I was really impressed. What impressed me was that the character he plays is a bitter, mean, negative guy who is not at all pleasant to be around. But in the end, this is where his goodness and his beauty as a human lives. It is this part of him that is actually capable of love.

I think that Oprah has spent her life building a self that is based upon always being good, and nice, and generous and kind. But it does not leave room for the most human part of her. We are all taught that if we are not perfect or someones idea of perfect that we are unlovable. Oprah is not perfect, she needs to accept it and so do her fans. She is like anyone else and we probably have never seen the most real part of her. I have a feeling that the most real, beautiful part of Oprah lives within the part of her that over eats, may do or have done drugs and other aspects of herself that many would label as bad or imperfect. Personally, I like her more when I hear that she is human. The all wise, all knowing, all kind and generous Oprah is
actually a turn off to me.

Actually, the crack epidemic has hit all races and economic classes. There is nothing to be gained by trying to portray crack-cocaine as a "black drug"(or as a poor drug for that matter.) I am white and I have known many white people who have had their lives ruined by that drug(and others).

Most addicts don't start out with crack-cocaine. However, eventually they move from the powder to the rock.

How come so many people have to sit in private prison for doing less than crack or even crack but if you are Oprah it's OK ! You people are in need of a checkup from the neck up. Oprah Wnfrey is a sociopath, and if she were not getting paid for it, she would never "help" anyone. She appears to mainly be addicted to dissociative imbalances which cause her to obsess upon rehabilitation…in her case, losing the weight and getting back into shape. A crack habit is to be expected…tis why I never watch her pedantic, moronically prescient, and self-centered show. Moreover, why is she being touted as some sort of success story merely for infecting the rest of society with her mental disease?

I think the comments about crack being a cheap made drug for poor blacks actually refers to the origins of crack, not its present day customer base. It WAS created for poor blacks, and it just grew from there. Nobody in power wants poor anybody to ever get their shit together because they would be one huge voting power.

And Oprah gets on my nerves.
