1) No-one — from either coast — has gone from IN Touch to Star during Ashley's term in charge.
2) Again, look at the masthead, she has one other staff member working from the LA office, Joslin Gutierrez. How surprising that they should go for coffee together!

Ms. Dillahunty, your tenure at Bauer should have taught you at least one thing; it may feel comfortable where you're sitting right now, but it only seems that way. West Coast Bureau Chief for IT is a dead-end street; if you can't back up (with sources to verify that level of rainmaking) that you can bring it once you are inevitably removed yourself, you will have proven the rumors correct.
