Palin Opens Up To Hannity in Most Boring Way Possible
Revelations 0:0

Sarah Palin gave her second public interview since being nominated as the GOP VP candidate, this time with Fox's Sean Hannity. It was all very yada yada yada, nothing as interesting as Palin's leaked email account got mentioned, and we already knew she likes her comedy like she likes her pro-choice advocates: on mute.

So was there anything revealed during this puff piece with America's next top VP? Well, vice president beauty queen does differ from grandpappy McCain on one major issue:

Both Palin and McCain support offshore oil drilling, but they split over whether to pursue drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, or ANWR, in Alaska.

Palin, who supports opening up ANWR to drilling, told FOX News she’s pushing McCain to change his mind.

“McCain knows, more so than any other leader in our nation today, that for national security reasons we must be an energy-independent nation. We must start taking the steps to get there,” she said. “That’s why he has embraced offshore drilling. … And I’ll keep working on him with ANWR.”

Now that the house pushed through a bill that supports offshore drilling, it's funny that the only debate going on is where to drill. Come on McCain, how can you listen to that sultry voice and not start digging for arctic oil?

McCain supported with Phil Gramm, deregulating the Investment Industry and now look at the result. Didn't they figure in Personal Greed with deregulating these organizations? McCain may think he knows a thing or two about War, after all, he was in one, but he doesn't have a clue about keeping an eye on the economy and putting steps in place to protect your and my money when we hand it over to these greedy earthlings. And Palin? She's a one issue gal: Drill in ANWR, us Alaskans want you to.

"…he doesn't have a clue about keeping an eye on the economy…"

Yeah, instead, let's ask Barak Obama about that. You know, the the second largest recipient of Fannie May campaign slush funds in exchange for guranteeing a federal bailout if their rediculously irresponsible loan pactices ever blow up in their faces? Like last week to the tune of $200 billion dollars?

Yeah, let's ask him about the economy!

we are we even concerned about drilling for oil in the first place?! if we TRULY want to be free from our dependence on foreign oil, we need to invest everything we have into finding, new RENEWABLE, CLEAN sources of energy. oil is a dead end.

I can't even listen to her talk anymore. It's interesting how she is relatively articulate in this interview but when she's stumping on the campaign, she gets all folksy, dropping her G's and whatnot.

Barack had nothing to do with the bail out of Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. Why don't you take a look at all the candidates donors. You are on the net. Do research about things before you become a republican and spread lies. "exchange for guranteeing a federal bailout" is not true. why can't they just be democrats?

The McPalinBush gate III. I refuse to testify. The third Bush term has officially arrived. All the staff members subpoenaed by the ethics committee in Alaska including the First Dude have refused to testify. Why won’t they testify? They agreed to fully cooperate at first. But now they are showing that they have something to hide. There is no executive privilege in this case either. I am not even sure the First Dude can refuse legally and not get sent to prison for it. He cannot assert executive privilege because he’s not an elected official. Not that the executive privilege argument can stand for the Karl Roves and all the other Republicans that have refused to testify before congress in the last two years or so (because it is suspected that they have committed criminal acts). Let me name a few of the charges levied at them. CIA gate- Alleged CIA operative’s name and identity exposed. Attorney general gate- 10 U.S. Assistant Attorney generals allegedly fired by then U.S. Attorney Gonzales because of Political dissention did testify but falsely. U.S. Attorney General Micheal Mukasey gate, Karl Rove gate- allegations behind the unlawful conviction of a Democratic governor. There’s just so many. But it is apparent that McCain has official Joined the Bush team. All the lies in the campaign ads, the deception, the lies spoken by Palin and McCain on the campaign trail. The seemingly growing sense that John McCain may not have a clue on foreign policy (The new one? confusing Spain with South America on a Miami radio station interview and implying that Spain is on the list of Terrorist States when Spain is one of this Country’s strongest allies?) The economy? First a 911 commission, then some alphabet soup “the MFI“, the increasingly out of touch statement “the economy is fundamentally sound?” And Now!!! The McPalinBush ticket has showed the Country what they can expect in the White House if they are elected. More Scandal, more lies, more dumbfoundedness, more crimes that go unpunished. Go ahead!!! I dare you all to put The McPlainBush ticket into the White House. You will only have yourselves to blame as the rich get richer, the middle class becomes the poor. Our children’s futures get squandered, Social Security, More wars, less childcare and education. It’s disgusting.

Oh yeah, according to some, Palin may be suffering from depression cause by SAD (Seasonal Associated Disorder). Do some research. This story is tied to the Tanning machine she has in her Governor's mansion. Light therapy is a treatment and an Alaskan called in during the whole controversy over the tanning machine and admitted that Alaskans prefer Tanning machines better the that "Light Boxes" because they work better.

Sarah Palin linked electoral success to prayer of Pastor Thomas Muthee Kenyan witchhunter

Here is a Prayer That Can Change Your Life

“The pastor whose prayer Sarah Palin says helped her to become governor of Alaska founded his ministry with a witchhunt against a Kenyan woman who he accused of causing car accidents through demonic spells.
At a speech at the Wasilla Assembly of God on June 8 this year, Mrs Palin described how Thomas Muthee had laid his hands on her when he visited the church as a guest preacher in late 2005, prior to her successful gubernatorial bid.
In video footage of the speech, she is seen saying: “As I was mayor and Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how he speaks and he’s so bold. And he was praying “Lord make a way, Lord make a way.”
“And I’m thinking, this guy’s really bold, he doesn’t even know what I’m going to do, he doesn’t know what my plans are. And he’s praying not “oh Lord if it be your will may she become governor,” no, he just prayed for it. He said “Lord make a way and let her do this next step. And that’s exactly what happened.”
She then adds: “So, again, very very powerful, coming from this church,” before the presiding pastor comments on the “prophetic power” of the event.
An African evangelist, Pastor Muthee has given guest sermons at the Wasilla Assembly of God on at least 10 occasions in his role as the founder of the Word of Faith Church, also known as the Prayer Cave.
Pastor Muthee founded the Prayer Cave in 1989 in Kiambu, Kenya after “God spoke” to him and his late wife Margaret and called him to the country, according to the church’s website.
The pastor speaks of his offensive against a demonic presence in the town in a trailer for the evangelical video “Transformations”, made by Sentinel Group, a Christian research and information agency.
“We prayed, we fasted, the Lord showed us a spirit of witchcraft resting over the place,” Pastor Muthee says.
After the spirit was broken, the crime rate dropped to almost zero and there was “explosive church growth” while almost every bar in the town closed down, the video says.
The full Transformations video featuring Pastor Muthee’s story has recently been removed from YouTube but the rest of the story is detailed in a 1999 article in the Christian Science Monitor, as well as on numerous evangelical websites.
According to the Christian Science Monitor, six months of fervent prayer and research identified the source of the witchcraft as a local woman called Mama Jane, who ran a “divination” centre called the Emmanuel Clinic.
Her alleged involvement in fortune-telling and the fact that she lived near the site of a number of fatal car accidents led Pastor Muthee to publicly declare her a witch responsible for the town’s ills, and order her to offer her up her soul for salvation or leave Kiambu.
Says the Monitor, “Muthee held a crusade that “brought about 200 people to Christ”.” They set up round-the-clock prayer intercession in the basement of a grocery store and eventually, says the pastor “the demonic influence – the ‘principality’ over Kiambu –was broken”, and Mama Jane fled the town.
According to accounts of the witchhunt circulated on evangelical websites such as Prayer Links Ministries, after Pastor Muthee declared Mama Jane a witch, the townspeople became suspicious and began to turn on her, demanding that she be stoned. Public outrage eventually led the police to raid her home, where they fired gunshots, killing a pet python which they believed to be a demon.
After Mama Jane was questioned by police – and released – she decided it was time to leave town, the account says.
Pastor Muthee has frequently referred to this witchhunt in his sermons as an example of the power of “spiritual warfare”. In October 2005, he delivered ten sermons at the Wasilla Assembly of God, the audio of which was available on the church’s website until it was removed around the time Mrs Palin’s candidacy was announced. The blog Irregular Times has listings and screen grabs of the sermons.
It was during that these sermons that Mrs Palin, who was then preparing for her gubernatorial run, was anointed by Pastor Muthee. His intercession, she says, was “awesome”.
Her June 8 speech was to mark the graduation of students from the Wasilla Assembly of God’s Masters’ Commission, which, as Pastor Ed Kalins explains, believes Alaska will be the refuge for American evangelicals upon the coming “End of Days”. After her speech, Mrs Palin was presented with an honorary Masters’ Commission diploma.”
***
Three car accidents in the neighborhood of the clinic where Mama Jane worked were enough to start this witchhunt. Muthee got the local people so into a panic, and so incensed, that Mama Jane was threatened with stoning if she did not leave town or ’submit’ to Pastor Muthee’s authority. Muthee demanded: “Mama Jane either gets saved and serves the Lord or she leaves town!”
When Mama Jane was finally released from jail, she fled town, fearing for her life - not without good reason as people in the surrounding areas have been burned alive because of accusations of witchcraft - eg: the eleven people in the article here.
