Don't feel sorry for Paula Zahn. Not because her marriage is dissolving or she might be imminently forced out of CNN or because her legs are no longer and tan and supple as they used to be.
Because no matter what you think, Paula's life is still much, much better than yours.
Take, for example, your apartment. You know that spacious 2-bedroom loft in the West Village you've had your eye on for a while now? Well, forget it. You're living in a closet-sized Murray Hill—that's, ironically, closet-less—and paying $1250/month for the privilege of splitting an 850 square-foot dump above "Curry In A Hurry" with an out-of-work aerobics instructor and her impossibly hairy boyfriend.
Meanwhile, here's where Zahn has been "roughing it" since ditching that dreary, red hawk-infested co-op on Fifth avenue.
Sources tell us the host of "Paula Zahn NOW," whose spicy affair with a married mogul was revealed by the press last March, is renting a full-floor apartment at the Siena on East 76th Street for $40,000 a month. The 6,000-square-foot postwar condo on a high floor in the full-service building includes five bedrooms, six baths, a den/library and views of the park and the city.
But hey, don't feel bad that Paula spends more on one month's rent than you make in an entire year.
At least you get free Beef Vindaloo.

Would it surprise people to know that this claim of Ms. Zahn having a so-called "spicy affair" just happened to come out as she was in the process of filing for divorce from this guy? How about this guy getting caught, red-handed, trying to peddle this type of crap to any media outlet and gossip columnist that he could get his hands on? That's what "EXTRA" correspondent Jerry Penacoli discovered through his sources. But I guess he's lying, right? (NOT!!)
It's obvious what's going on. Cohen's marriage is the Titanic, and he's trying like HELL to handcuff Ms. Zahn to it by the wrist & take her down with the ship. If he wants to know what caused his marriage to her to go down the drain, then he should look in the mirror, because that's where he'll find the reason.
Nobody forced this guy, during the Pale Male Hawk incident in 2004, to look the other way while some animal rights extremist whack job tried to go after his wife and his two kids. The guy walked!! No charges were filed!! And that nest that got taken down? It went back up!! He capitulated to terrorism!! And there's Ms. Zahn and her kids saying to themselves "This guy sold us out for a bunch of goddamned birds???!!!" I can't imagine I can't imagine the pain Ms. Zahn must've been feeling. Jeez!! She must've been feeling horrible!!
That 2004 incident is what caused Ms. Zahn's marriage to this guy to end. They've been (essentially) living separate lives ever since, and only now is it starting to becoming official. And THAT is the truth!!
Ms. Zahn is one of the most kindest, sweetest and most nicest people that you'll ever come across. She IS good people!! It's disgusting to think that this Cohen thinks he can convince everybody that the total opposite is the case!! He needs to just accept the fact that Ms. Zahn is dumping his sorry ass and just move on with his life, because this vile & vitriolic smear campaign is doing nothing but hurt his 3 children. They are, definately, the true victims in this whole thing.
Oh, that's right!! I forgot!! He could care less about them!! He sold them out (along with his wife) for a bunch of birds!! Sorry!! My bad!! :-(

Then, "EXTRA" correspondent Penacoli catches this guy trying to peddle the same type of crap to other media outlets right afterwards. Coincidence? I don't think so! It's obvious that he planted that blind item in that gossip column, and that he's engaged in a smear campaign against her.

Paula's legs have gotten a bit thinner over the past few years. It seems that she isn't working out as much as she used too. In her day those legs were the nicest on TV. They were long and muscular and so shapely. While obviously still long her legs seem to have lost some of their world class luster.
