The first public photos of Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt have already been taken! And, despite our suggestion to nobody in particular that Brad and Angelina split their newborn twins into two separate photo shoots to really maximize profit potential, the babies were photographed together.
But the babies will be split up in one sense: People magazine has secured North American rights to the photos, while British tabloid Hello!, which sports numerous international editions, will have other worldwide rights.
Sound familiar? That's because People and Hello! teamed up in 2006 to publish Brangelina's other baby, Shiloh.
In the end, the price is pegged somewhere between $11 and $15 million, though that could be off by as much as a multiple of two. And while the price is certainly one for the record books (for now), keep in mind that the price includes two babies; so really, we're talking bargain.
Not that it's any consolation to OK! publisher Richard Desmond.
He was hoping to add Brangelina's baby photos to his trio of summer celeb spawn exclusives (Jamie Lynn Spears on July 21's cover, Jessica Alba on July 24, and Matthew McConaughey on the Aug. 4). But whether the World's Most Famous Couple saw OK! as too downmarket, or, somehow, Desmond just wasn't willing to pony up the cash (said to be unlikely), he's failed to crown his summer sweep with what may be the most sought-after celebrity baby photos of all time.
One rumor surrounding the pics' negotiations was that whichever magazine scored the photos would have to agree to stop referring to the couple as "Brangelina" — for good. So, People: Will you?

From all the whining, one might think the babies themselves were sold. Sorry, photo rights are different from the real thing. The way I see it, this is the great way to channel money which would otherwise go to tabloids/paparazzi - selfishly benefiting no one but themselves - to worthy charities which would spread the wealth among more deserving people. So, VIVA ANGELINA, BRAD, MADDOX, ZAHARA, PAX, SHILOH and VIVIENNE AND KNOX!
I think it's great that Brad & Angie will donate the money to charity. But if we'd all really think about it, it's a pretty sad world that we all want to see pictures of babies so bad we are willing to pay millions to see them. And all of us want to buy the mags that have them! But at least this money goes to charity. How about the other babies born to other celebs? Most of them just pocket it, no doubt. One thing about Brad & Angie, they are very generous. And for that, I give them big time credit! They will be remembered probably long after they're gone for their generosity and kindness to their fans.
Has there been an offical announcement that the money is going to charity. I don't think that the money from Pax's pictures did. Shiloh's did for sure.

WE aren't paying millions to see them. Our government isn't paying milloins to see them. A crazy industry is paying for them. Huge difference. They pay equally crazy amounts of money for make-up artists, hair stylists, lawyers, travel, entertainment, and everything else under the sun. The entertainment/tabloid industry is not a reflection of much in the world except how much money can be made from a little bit of money from each person. There are a lot of people in the world. They all need a bit of diversion from the serious matters of life.
I will be here with bells on to see the twins pics. First i come on the computer in my own spare time and read all the bad news about our economy first, Then there is always the horrendous crimes where murderers are walking free like the cop from Chicago Drew Peterson whom i hope goes down like the other Peterson nut. Only diff with this now ex cop is he killed 2 wives and is really enjoying the limelight thinking he is too cool to go to jail. We shall see. There is always the little too Caley Anthony from Fla.whos mother did not report her lost or missing for 30 days and this chick is probably going to walk out of jail by the looks of it and still people ask where is 3 yr old Caley?? Can her mama just walk away?
Or how about on Friday there is the Canadian guy (immigrant) who taunted police after he cut a 22 yr old kids head off while he was sleeping on the bus and proceeded to hang the young mans head outside the bus filled with traumatised people who witnessed this heinus crime while the police tried to calm the situation. Insane Absolutely but thats our world today. We also have ObamaNation and McCain which is on the internet and every channel on tv. Soooo to take the mind off this craziness that goes on every day of the yr i like to read about the celebs. I have come to really enjoy Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt . I also have enjoyed some of their movies thru the yrs which i purchased. Seeing Angie pregnant at two premiers in the spring 08 for Fung Fu Panda and her action flick Wanted was really enjoyable., I must say AJ did a great job entertaining her fans ,everybody loved her (except for the haters) but dems the brakes. So there is the real hard news as in crimes,politics, and then there is entertainment like Brad and Angie. I will sit down and go thru the gossip sites and read the goods where ever i can find truth on this most hunted couple in HW. So having a peek at these famous celebs and their new twins is allot more fun then the other news i just saw on my homepage. BTW If i have to pay another dollar for the apparent 30 glossy photos i will.

I can afford 3.49 or 4.49 for a mag i will enjoy. I am sure in exposer alone People and Hello mag will make their money back but thats not really my problem. Most of the Angie and Brad with twins blogging places will most likely crash b/c even those hateful people sneak a peek Oh yes they do . If not sunday they will by monday.
