Figuring out why FNC's morning show Fox & Friends is pulling in hoards of viewers (twice as many as CNN's American Morning in several major markets) isn't an exact science, but some purported experts claim to understand the winning formula:
"'Fox is a new kind of television,' said Paul Levinson, the chairman of Fordham University's communication and media-studies department. 'It's a program that's more in tune with YouTube, with the Web and with the way television has been evolving in the 21st century.' Levinson said that Fox's success in the morning has to do with its rapid-fire pace. In other words, the producers and anchors on Fox & Friends have figured out how to dish out a ton of news quickly to people who are trying to pour orange juice, pack their child's lunch, and put on a jacket all at the same time." It's enough to have FNC's ad sales SVP Paul Rittenberg claim his cable network's morning gab will beat one of the broadcast network's A.M. talkers at some point. Clearly, he's aiming at The Early Show.
My comment is……"Hey, loooookkkkkkk at those legs on the FOXY gals. They run all the way up to their a..'
