Peter Davis – socialite reporter extraordinaire – was last seen confusing his relationships with socialites like Tinsley Mortimer (his sister-in-law) with objective fashion editorial. You know, the type of confusion where he mistakenly includes his friends and business interests in his write ups of parties and all things glamorous. Easy mistake, right? We're willing to cut him some slack.
But then, we're told, Davis had to go and have a Fashion Week hotel sleepover with Matthew Williamson, who, wouldn't you know it, is a designer regularly written up by Davis' rag Fashion Week Daily. They took their partying from Bungalow 8 back to Matthew's hotel and, we're sure, were up all night discussing who gives better blowjobs: Jim Shi or Julie Fredrickson.
where do you guys here this stuff??
i know peter davis and he never went home with matthew williamson.
who is jim shi and julie frederikson?
Peter Davis is a talented, self-obsessed, trust-fund baby shopaholic and loves to mention his close friends and family in his work, and includes all his girlie-girl friend's in his articles. But you must give him credit, he was the first writer to re-use the title "It Girls" and "It Boys" in the late 80's after it had been stagnating since Warhol, Edie Sedgewick and the Silver 60's (Peter worked for the Warhol Foundation) and he was one of the first to coin the phrase "Junior Jet Set" waaaay back in the 80's, with his VOGUE article that helped launch the early-20's social careers of the just early 90's just igniting HOT HOT HOT Miller Sisters and Von Fürstenberg offspring as the "IT" crowd of the NY 1990s's.
He also wrote about the Hilton sisters as up and coming media superstars, way back eons ago when no one knew who they were, late 90's…
I thought Peter Davis was living with his cross-eyed, tatoo'd lover Thomas Whiteside, after he dumped that blonde ditzy WAM Rye Taz….what happened to them? No way he was intimate with Matthew Wiliamson; the most they would do is compare couture labels and giggle. Neither one is a bottom or a top. This can't be true.
Did you see the couture portrait Peter Davis commissioned for himself?
