Former NY1 reporter and sometime weekend anchor Adele Sammarco has filed a lawsuit claiming the Time Warner-owned news network was a petri dish for sexual harassment. She claims she was "attacked" by anchor Gary Anthony Ramsay and had to put up with a Photoshopped version of herself with big boobs that was plastered around the office. All of which caused her to file a complaint with superiors and, she says, cost her the job.
Meanwhile, in the most dreaded of workplace scenarios, peons known as newsroom assistants even had a nickname for her.
The suit, filed in 2002, also claims news assistants regularly referred to her by the acronym "BBB" and later told her the nickname stood for "Big Butt Booty."
Though "BBB" still remains worse than Kate White nickname around the office, "YFB."

Sounds like Billboard's lawsuit, except at NY1, there wasn't an office dildo…tsk.tsk.
What folks don't know is that Adele is a complete PSYCHO. She blamed her job for everything bad that ever happened to her from losing her fiance att he time to ruining her body because she had to carry a camera. She was removed from the anchor fill-in role because she drove the control rool crew crazy asking to re-tape for this reson or that.IE her hair was out of place, her lapel was folded wrong yada yada. When her name showed up on the schedule, people called in sick rather than deal.
This lawsuit is really about RACE. Adele HATES people of color. She complained that hispanics and blacks were put infront of her and given special assignment and treatement. Ramsay is her target because he confronted her about it, publicy, in the newsroom. Not cool what he did, but not worthy of the smear he got.
He's spent time with dozens of women in the newsroom and we never heard of anything like this till the story broke. Too bad all his good work will play second fiddle to this nonsense.
