Post-Apocolyptic New Years Eve Scene to Be Caused by Jonas Brothers

Remember the end of Strange Days, where Angela Bassett and Ralph Fiennes are running through the crowd of New Years Eve 2000 revelers, and there's a giant riot and everyone's screaming and the cops are beating people and it's an all-out war zone?

Well it took a little longer than expected, but welcome to NYE 2009, hosted by the Jonas Brothers.

The New York Police Department – which has heroically handled terrorist attacks, blackouts and riots without a whimper – is being cautious over the "mob scene" that could result when the Jonas Brothers perform in Times Square at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday night.

9/11, Ryan Seacrest, and a Jonas Brothers concert: the analogy that was meant to be. Never forget?

Whatever. Jonas Brothers rule. If all the people that hate them for NO reason (scarves really bother you that much? reassess!!!) vanished tomorrow the world would probably be a much nicer place.
