Professional Partying: A career from the lifestyle you dream of

Marc de Gontaut Biron

We wouldn't exactly consider ourselves "professional partiers." Sure, we like our Ruby Falls and Marquee now and then, but you would never find us there more than once a month.

Now meet Marc de Gontaut Biron, who we're pretty sure invented the "de Gontaut" to get on more lists. Either way, Biron is a man who's made a career out of attending parties. Well, not so much "attending" as "promoting," but there's barely a line to blur when entering that realm.

You can find him at "two or three parties a night, four or five nights a week." Frankly, and unlike professional gossipists, we'd be exhausted. Not from all the flowing Ketel One, but all those Mary-Kate Olsen run-ins.

So what is the secret to hitting so many parties for so many years?

Little drinking, no drugs. Only wine, never hard liquor. Keep in shape. If you don't drink too much you can go out every night.

And never, ever engage Mary-Kate in conversation.
