Profiling Kent Brownridge Is More Fun When There's a Schoolyard Fight
It's nice to see Mediaweek taking a stab at fueling gossip. Lucia Moses's profile on Kent Brownridge – Jann Wenner's former No. 2 and incoming chief of Maxim, Blender, and Stuff – is filled with anonymous sources, speculating, and mud slinging. It's pretty damn awesome.
And those who have seen his fierce competitiveness in action expect him to jump at the chance to use it against his former employer.
“I think he would love to stick it in Jann’s face, especially over what happened to him at the end,” quipped one ex-employee. [...]
