Project Get Paid

While Nina Garcia is said to be paid upwards of $70,000 per public appearance, Liz Claiborne chief creative office Tim Gunn — who always has more screen time on the show than Garcia — is paid a measly $30,000 per stint.

That's a crime. That show would not change one bit if they replaced Nina Garcia - but if Tim were not there the show would lose it's heart - it's anchor. He is the heart/soul of that show.
The show hasn't been good since Jay McCarroll was on. He was great. Loved his movie!
I love Tim - he adds so much to the show.
Don't like ANY of the designers this season. No talent phonies.
Tim is the only reason to watch this time around
After Christian and Laura and Daniel on prior seasons, nobody stands out at all. If Nina never appeared again, nobody would care, she has tried to soften her persona this season but it's very phony, there is nothing charismatic about her, she has a very blah personality and she isn't genuine at all. Tim Gunn cares about the contestants, he deserves his salary and hers. I think Stella should have her own "tawk" show, she is priceless.
I think all the designers are phonies this time. They are all trying to find a gimmick that makes them stand out, but when it's put-on and fake - they just can't…. make it work :-)
Jay was great… Austin was great… Chloe, Chris March… Rami… so many…
"Fierce" is a household word because of Christian. Now this other geek is trying to act like Christian by saying 'girlicious' or 'grrrlicious'(?) whatever… I don't care. It's fake and obnoxious.
I think Stella is a phony too and her designs are from 1980.
Love Tim though, I think he's at his wits end with this group, too.
