Rachael Ray Wears Terrorism On Her Neck
Reactionary critics wear stupidity on their blogs

rachaelraydunkin.jpg

It's not that Dunkin' Donuts actually thinks living endorsement Rachael Ray is supporting terrorism by wearing this black-and-white scarf in one of its ads. But the attacks from the right-y blogs, including Michelle Malkin's, has the company deciding that it's easier to pull the ad all together than defend itself against criticism that Ray is actually wearing a keffiyeh, or, as Malkin describes it, "the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad." [BG] Ray, who used to hoc Urban Outfitters scarfs on her website before the DD ad, joins celebrities like Ricky Martin who dared to wear the accessory without realizing it's as controversial as a KKK hood. Or that some people believe it to be.

I'm a pretty staunch Republican, and even I don't think Islamofascists wear paisley.

It's amazing the folks who have too much time on their hands to spin something as innocent as a scarf into a promotional item for terrorism. Michelle Malkin needs a long vacation in the hotel reality.

GIVE ME A BREAK! Ive seen what Michelle Malkin wears and far be it from her to say what people wear represents "terrorism". I did not know the style of clothes determines our alert status here in the United States. Are we red, orange, What?
I need to make sure that my kids are wearing the M.M collection so they are not associated w/terrorism. Oh please! Don't we have other things to worry about such as the "summer fashion" and what terrorist alert we will be on next?

Michelle has the same mindset of the radical Islams she condemns. Radical Islams will judge you by what you wear, have no tolerance for those whom they find offensive, and try to thrust their views upon you and bring dire consequences upon you if you don't agree… just like Michelle.

I am not sure wearing a black and white scarf is a sign of supporting terrorism.

I do know that buying gasoline and wasting electricity is giving money directly to terrorists. Most of the hefty petroleum profits go to Saudi Arabia (Bush's dear friends) which sponsors terrorist and anti Israel activities. But other than using bio diesel, solar, wind & geothermal power research and investing in other green technologies, I don't know any solution to this mess. Just see what happens when Saudi Arabia stops getting oil money. Although it's probably not going to happen.

Michelle Malkin is in dire need of psychiatric help. People should just ignore the steaming pile of fertilizer that comes out of her mouth. Her digestive system is reversed.

Michelle,

The critique that you made about the Dunkin Donut's commercial displays your ignorance about the Islamic culture and also as an analyst for Fox News. With that comment, I see no difference between your narrow minded comments and the beliefs of radical Islam. I bet you my life that this wouldn't have been an issue if you had not mentioned something so minute.

Rachel Ray is wearing it to make a fashion statement…for God's sakes…What's next for her…Fox news popping up on 30-minute meals to question her patriotism and whether she was sending a hidden signal to those terrorists…huh…Perhaps she would wear an American Flag Pin to show her patriotism….or better yet re-shoot that commercial with an American Flag around her neck!!

No doubt as a Muslim I abhor the people who carried out the 9/11 attacks, but over the years people like you have created such propogandas and displayed such acts of hysteria to create a stereotype that all muslims are evil. Lets get you a reality check…one bad apple doesn't ruin the whole bunch

I laugh at your Ignorance!

You are the extremist in this situation. Extremely stupid and narrow minded. The Dunkin Donuts management are a bunch of cowards for pulling an ad due to one idiot's objection.

I'm ashamed that Fox Network even has such a racist nut case on their staff, let alone being on the Network.
I assume Fox makes more ad money than it's work to hire someone reputable.
What really scares me is that there enough nuts out there who listen/read her BS to make it worth Fox's time.
Respectfully,
Duke Johnston

I am very disappointed in Dunkin Donuts for caving into pressure from a radical right winger like Michelle Malkin. Where most citizens would never have made an issue out if it, to me their lack of courage to stand up and realize that fashion is not the same as polictial beliefs. Rachel Ray is a great Amercian has shown that anything is possible.

Malkin is just as bad as Ann Coulter and twice as idiotic. I think Malkin makes outrageous remarks to only draw attention to herself just like Coulter. She is just a harpie with a computer…

Remember Malkin also believed that interning Japanese Americans during World War 2 was justified…

Malkin is a hypocritical whack job seeking publicity..
Dunkin Donuts management is full of cowards…

I saw an interesting comment does Michelle Malkin know we use ARAB NUMERALS ON EVERYTHING that makes us all ARAB loving kill machines, this woman is dangerous publicity seeking hate monger and the worst type of racist, anti christian i have ever seen. As the daughter of immigrants from the Phillipines she certainly is anti- immigrant , maybe we should all go back from where we came from and leave the keyes to the Native Americans since we are all immigrants, this woman only looks for publicity.

Jack at#17 makes an excellent point. If the idiotic Michelle Malkin is anti immigration, why doesn't she go back to the Phillipines?

@Akbar Ukani:

Maybe we wouldn't be so paranoid about muslims if more of them stood up against the terrorists attacks. But as usual most of the muslim population was silent and didn't outright condemn the attacks or Saddam or Iraq or anything.

As evident in the recent Gaza crisis we don't hear anything from the muslims except protests against the Jews.

Speaking of terrorism:

George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).

George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.

And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.

Many people know what Bush did.

And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.

Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memory so it never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off of the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.
