Just hours after Life ended as we know it comes breaking word that Radar's ship has finally come in. A forwarded email communique reveals that the on-again, off-again mag has rewarded its hard-working staffers with a new (midtown!) clubhouse where they can hang their hats.
And on-the-ball senior editor, Jeff Bercovici, sure doesn't waste any time updating his contacts. We received this email missive written by Jeff, possibly typed on his new computer, possibly sent from his brand-new office!
From: Jeff Bercovici [mailto: REDACTED]
Hey all,
At long last, Radar has moved to a permanent* office. Please note my new
number and address.Best,
Jeff*as these things go
And frankly, we can't help but be won over by Jeff's youthful optimism and masterful use of asterix! (Plus, he assures us the offices are "actually really nice," and confesses he's really "friggin happy" to be within walking distance of a Two Boots pizzeria).
So wish the Radarettes well, and feel free to buy them a new housewarming gift, (possibly an "Earth Mother" pizza from Two Boots). Do it because it feels right. And because Maer Roshan will be your new best friend. And, of course, because that's what Details would do.
