Right-Wing Blogs Battle for Coveted "Conservative Slate" Title
This should be good

If you dare, enter the new self-described "conservative Slate," a.k.a. Culture11. Don't know why you would, unless you have a giant schadenfreude boner, but site just launched today and has already sent over some prefab talking points for liberals to get blustery about. For example, did you know conservatives hate "gansta' rap?"

But wait! Wasn't there already going to be a conservative Slate called Liberty Wire?

Don't worry, the internets aren't being overrun with Drudge Report spin-offs. Culture11 is Liberty Wire, though the name change is misleading since Liberty Wire's homepage is still up, and does not redirect you to their new site. But what about Andrew Breitbart's Big Hollywood site, that was supposed to have Huffpost-esque essays from conservative A-listers?

Not to worry. From a quick perusal, Culture11 seems more of a social network site; less conservative Slate and more like a conservative Nerve.com, where user generated content and friend networks reign supreme over any sort of real political discussion.

Whoops Culture11, you've just created the right-wing version of Friendster.

Umm … it's Culture11, not Chapter11. And LW and C11 are the same magazine, doofus - there was a name change.

Chapter 11 as in bankrupt right wingers? Makes no sense to me.

Ahh, nothing like getting several crucial facts wrong and then going back to change the post without noting that, huh?
