Oh, I see. When Russell Brand prank calls someone it's considered basically a federal crime. When some schmo over at Quebec radio station does it to Sarah Palin, pretending to be French President Nicolas Sarkozy, it is all in good fun.

To be fair, Palin takes it like a champ, so it's hard to tell whether she buys it or not. Certainly she isn't as pissy as Mitt Romney when one of his oddly named sons pretended to be the governor of California.

Either way: God Bless America (and the Canadian Provinces).

I think it proves that Palin's staff will just let anyone talk to her on the phone without any kind of… what's the word when you try to verify someone's qualifications? It's right on the tip of my tongue…

I am so proud to be a quebecor right now. They did this in order to see how easily it would be to infiltrate the candidate's "security". It took 4 days to get through which simply proves the following: 0 security. They literally went on for 6 minutes hoping she would pick up that it was a joke and finally they had to tell her that it was a prank, the only other person they pranked that didn't catch on was Britney Spears. It takes one month for them to get through to Paul McCartney but it takes 4 days to get through to Sarah Palin…if I were American, I'd be worried…
