Who cares about the environment? Fine. We should all care about the environment … what we mean is, who cares about the granola weirdos who obsess over the environment?

Well, Green Room does. But only the celeb granolas who inspire gossip. Admittedly, when we were directed towards this site, we expected lots of Al Gore sweating and Daryl Hannah acting crazy in a tree. But it actually has some decent chatter — which strays so far from Perez Hilton that the posts are a breath of fresh air. (Cheesy pun intended.) And it doesn't use paper! What could be better?

What's the dumbest thing you could do if you were at an event to promote environmental awareness? Much to the dismay of Orlando Bloom, Kate Bosworth learned the hard way at The Fuji Rock Festival, sponsored by Global Cool. No, she didn't execute a baby whale. She dropped a cigarette butt and other litter on the ground without thinking twice.

Snap! We knew Kate Bosworth was a huge biyotch, but we didn't know she was actually polluting the earth during an environmental awareness function.

Anyway, Green Room blogger Joshua Jackson (not of Dawson's Creek), has been pulling celebrity environmentalist stories from assorted gossip sources since May, calling out the many celebs who are faux environmentalists (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and praising the celebs who would rather die than see a polluted pond (Leonardo DiCaprio).

"It's the highlight of my week to work on finding environmental scoops and pulling stories for the blog."

It doesn't get much more adorably nerdy than that. And, since we get the distinct feeling that some space in your time wasting schedule recently opened up, why not give this blog a chance?
