We had no idea that so many young people are getting their news from Jon Stewart. This apparently doesn't just concern us, it also raises some fears for CBS president Les Moonves. He feels it's time to "prepare something that is a little bit more friendly to people who are a little bit younger."
So, we came up with a few suggestions for him:
• Hire Conan O'Brien to host a few Bill O'Reilly vs. Stephen Colbert spots
• Throw a couple Star headlines into every evening's top stories
• Feature an end of the day news round-up, where you compare who's mistakes ruined more lives: bloggers or reporters
• Use words like "natch" "whatev" "wtf" and "seriously" much more often.
• Ask women anchors to wear lower cut shirts, guys to keep a little scruffy stubble, and hire a trans to do the weather
• At the end of the report, the weathertrans should walk around with shots for everyone (preferably tequila) and then everyone could break into a PopoZao dance party
Just a few suggestions, Moonves. We don't really know what we're talking about. We're still trying to figure out what they hell people between 45 and 60 do, exactly, if they don't dance or watch TV news.
