Scott McClellan Thought W. was "Good, Not Bad"
Now he's a film critic too?

Former Press Secretary and defector from the Bush regime Scott McClellan reviews Oliver Stone's W. on its accuracy and entertainment value. And he likes it (for the most part)!

Not that McClellan the most objective viewer, seeing as how he literally wrote the book about George the 2nd being a naive, goofy pawn for his father, Karl Rove, and Dick Cheney.

But which of the White House cronies does McClellan continue to carry a grudge for, after all these years?

Overall, as should be expected from the high-caliber cast, the acting was fabulous. Brolin rightly deserves kudos for his portrayal of Bush. He has the swagger down, and does a decent job on Bush’s voice and gestures. The president’s eating habits were overdone, but not completely off the mark (you will know what I mean when you see the movie). The attractive and engaging Elizabeth Banks plays a charming Laura Bush. Dreyfuss nails his inner Cheney, a conniving vice president who believes the president’s wartime powers are virtually unlimited and that the ends justify the means. Jeffrey Wright does an excellent job capturing Colin Powell’s strong dissenting voice, if not his physical presence. The most unflattering portrayal is that of Condi Rice, caricatured by Thandie Newton as a mere yes–woman, which is not entirely without basis.

Wow, do McClellan's comments on Condi Rice reveal some secret sexual tension or just a disdain for her gender all together?

I just barely was able to survive the last eight years of Bush, I hardly think I'm about to PAY to sit through another two hours of shiteous filmaking!

Stone should have donated this money to charity!

I will be at the premier and I hope it's the biggest box office until the election, hell I hope it's top of the charts until Cheney/Bush slink out of office in Jan.

I want them to KNOW viscerally how HATED they are, and how badly they damaged America.
The movies AFTER Cheney has NO POWER will be even NASTIER, I guarantee it.

I love scott mcclellan! Smart guy and sexy man,at least I think so.But watch this movie, I don't think so, and really,as a "regular joe the plumber gay guy",I am embarrassed for the gay community when I see a gay guy acting like a sissy, now I have to be embarrased by people in my party making a movie like this that is clearly a smear campaign. We are above this guys. Obama has taken the high road,I think we can learn alot from that.
