Sean Avery Apologizes For 'Sloppy Seconds' Comment Heard 'Round The World

Sean Avery attempted to apologize for his now infamous "sloppy seconds" comment about his teammate and ex-girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert, but he might as well have been speaking in another language, because it's not going to do any good. Hey Avery! You're off the team:

The jail authorities have disclosed that Casey Anthony has received over eight thousand pieces of lingerie through the mail by anonymous donors. Does she have access to them, and can she trade them to other prisoners for other items? Can she have a family member sell them for her? How much profit is she allowed to make while awaiting trial? Does this count as part of the multimillions in dollars she will make after this whole case is thrown out against her by the Appellate Courts? Plus, all that money Casey will win after she sues Nancy Grace of CNN for all the crimes Nancy perpetrated against the entire Anthony family.

Wow,
The previous statement really had nothing to do with anything but thanks for coming! Anyway, Sean Avery is smart but he does have a big streak of smart-ass in him which really doesn't serve him well in the end…

The comment was not aimed at his teammate. It was aimed at Dion Phaneuf, a player on a different team.

"I would like to sincerely apologize for my off-color remarks to the press yesterday from Calgary.

"I should not have made those comments and I recognize that they were inappropriate. It was a bad attempt to build excitement for the game, but I am now acutely aware of how hurtful my actions were. I caused unnecessary embarrassment to my peers as well as people I have been close with in the past.

"I apologize for offending the great fans of the NHL, the commissioner, my teammates, my coaching staff and the Dallas Stars management and ownership. As many of you know, I like to mix it up on and off the ice from time to time, but understand that this time I took it too far."

Wow, is it all right if I not give a damn about Elisha Cuthbert and her evidently seldom vacant vagina? Dude was right, she is his sloppy seconds, and all he was doing was pointing out that his teammates are acting like a bunch of dogs in heat going after the nearest bitch in heat. So what? If she weren't a famous actress she would probably be passed from team to team, as oppossed to just player to player. I admit I would hit that too, but only with three layers of latex.
