We understand that all the reports of this week's McCain-Palin rallies devolving into nothing but cesspools of shouting and rage and xenophobia are starting to seem a little biased and exaggerated. Click through to be assured that they are not.

I hope and pray that so many others will have the courage and conviction to not only endorse but vote for the man that could better service the country and not just their racial fears or American "traditions" as some would like to call It. Either way it all the same. Too many people are holding out for their last "great white hope" instead of embracing their black blessing. Now all I hear about is the unrest at McCain rallies but forgive me if I don't panic or break sweat. It's not a problem when minorities riot or protest an injustice because they will be them but when white America become ill at ease or start shaking in their shimmies about the prospect that an African American who was born and raised in America sought to obtain the cherry on top of the American dream all hell is about to break loose. Well, excuse the rest of minority America for living. Is it because no one want to see their grandpa or grandma show off their real colors. Or is it the manger or supervisor who has been cool with race but couldn't bear possibility of having to stand up one day for President Barack Obama. If any of this isn't sad enough, we have responsible leadership and journalism also imitating the masses of the running scared in our close minded society. You know…The same language that we are created equal as long as we know our place. It's a free country as long as we beg our pardon to the "man". Every opportunity is at your grasp as long your wait to handed you piece the "man" throw at you. What is it? When I see Tom Brokaw give a biased stance as moderator in a election year debate or local and national news anchors grasping at straws during news coverage to showcase only the good of their choice but quickly buy all the negative of other. When character assassinations, an old man desperation, the rantings and railings of the PTA pinup just for the "mini-van minority", and last but not least the cries of the past still haunting the present and future of American how can we hold our heads high and call ourselves of the free world when we ourselves need to still yet be set free…

I despise pre-election fervor. I hate the way that the mention of politics can turn somewhat normal people into raving lunatics… On both sides. You can be having a normal discussion with someone and all of the sudden they start spouting some half-remembered quote that involved some skewed statistic. And the less they know, the more vehemently they defend their position. Everyone wants to have a position, but most people will not take the time to do the research before deciding, that just takes too much time. God forbid they form an opinion that wasn't spelled out for them by some headline on MSNBC or screamed at them by O'Rielly.
I will not vote for McCain, but at one time, I thought I would. I vote for a person (as much as I can) and their policies, not a party.
I would love to see multi-party elections. There are enough differences between the moderates and extremes of both parties to split them, giving people a better idea of the policies of candidates. But neither Rep. or Dems would risk giving up voters.

Is it just me or have McCain rallies started to look like early stages of lynch mobs? It is absolutely discusting that McCain and Palin would lower themselves to inciting this kind of hate-filled intolerance just to win a few votes. And if they do win the election by lowering themselves thusly, what will they have won? The Presidency of an America so angry and fractured that it may never heal. No matter how McCain wants to pretend that his behavior is not pandering to people's basest emotions and stoking racism, it is clear what is going on when you have people yelling "kill him" and calling Obama an "Arab." No matter how nasty prior elections have been, we have never seen this degree of angry, hate filled crowds that are bordering on losing control. Even the several times that McCain sensed that things were crossing the line of propriety and attempted to inject some calm and decency, the crowds were almost too incited for McCain himself to talk down. I felt like I was watching a KKK meeting in progress. McCain and Palin are single handedly destroying years of progression this country has made towards racial tolerance and harmony, and God forbid that someone makes an attempt on Sen. Obama's security before this election is over, McCain and Palin will have blood on their hands and this country will decend into a period of racial violence we have not seen since Brown v. the Board of Education. I used to respect McCain as being someone who stood up for his beliefs and morals in the face of adversity but he has sold his soul to the Devil to win this election and whether he wins or loses he is not fit to lead a people who claim to believe in equality, decency, morality, and tolerance. McCain and Palin should be ashamed of themselves.

I am in the UK too and the vast majority here and in Europe want Obama to get in.

As to this rally, I have to be honest, McCain had his back to us most of the time so it's not impossible that could have been dubbed over. I wasn't sure it was him speaking, but, regardless, I have still witnessed the craziness and intolerance of the average conservative in the US to know that this would be pretty standard at their rallies anyway. You just cannot believe that a supposedly educated, freedom-loving nation can breed so many redneck shoot 'em up joe types who basically want for nothing yet that pick on others mercilessly over religion, sexuality, skin colour, you name it.

I'm sick of people in the MSM claiming that BOTH campaigns are engaging in dirty politics. I've yet to see or hear anyone supporting Obama shouting "kill him", "off with his head" or "terrorist" about McCain. McCain and Palin have stooped to the lowest level of dirty in this campaign.

Why does Palin keep saying also?

I did not see the part of the clip where McCain agreed with the man who was saying that until now. The McCain campaign is out of control.

I have no idea where the people commenting here are from but in NY, the only bumper stickers you see are for Obama. I have friends who have had their McCain signs stolen and vandalized in their front yard. I have no issue with people supporting Obama, if that is their choice but I find that Obama supporters have a real issue with McCain supporters. When you don't agree with Obama supporters you are ostracized, ridiculed or worse, called a racist. What is that about? The only anger around here is coming from Obama supporters.
