Idle Minds Want To Know…

…Whether anyone else is less than shocked to hear that Chris Noth and his girlfriend are expecting a child out of wedlock.

We don’t mean to sound cynical or anything (non-marriage has certainly worked out great for the Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, plus Johnny Depp and that hot French chick) but there’s just something altogether unsurprising about Sex and The City’s resident commitment-phobe knocking up his longtime partner…and simultaneously refusing to propose.

To hms — Anyone who isn’t aware that birth control isn’t 100% effective needs to get an education quickly. Sometimes, no matter what precautions you take, it still happens — it’s the old “consequences of our actions” thing.

As a general comment, for all we know they were trying to have a child. Amazing that the assumption is that it was an accident.

How do you know he refused to propose? Maybe he did propose and she declined. And what difference does it make anyway?
