Slate Hires Sex Addict for New Bi-Weekly Column
 


Eliot Spitzer, the man who will go down in history as launching Ashley Dupre to stardom, is finding his new gig post-governorship to be equally in the spotlight. Eliot will be the newest member of Slate's writing line-up for a biweekly column.

"He's going to be doing a regular thing," said Jacob Weisberg, the editor-in-chief of the Slate Group. "It'll be heavily about the financial crisis and fixing financial markets and the economy generally."

Even better is the title for his new twice a week job: The Best Policy. Which he should know something about creating, if not enforcing exactly. Hopefully Slate, like Spitzer, pays by the hour.
