Remember that part in Clueless where shopper-slash-philosopher Cher Horowitz describes Ren and Stimpy as being "way existential?" Back then, we just thought she was just being "pseudo-intellectual," which is to say, embarrassingly stupid.

Of course, that was before we heard about the scandalous bio on "Peanuts" creator Charles Schultz, that dares to ask, "Was he the man who suffered anxiety attacks, remembered slights for decades and put every ounce of existential angst into his comic strip, "Peanuts"?

Or was he, you know, just a guy who liked drawing pictures of a cartoon dog?
