Somehow, Someway, Ben Silverman is Not Going to Lose His Job
How is that f*cking possible??

We swear, that kid Ben Silverman must have been born under an obnoxiously lucky star. Despite the fact that NBC recently nixed two programs, Lipstick Jungle and My Own Worst Enemy, neither one happened to fall in the studio's Entertainment co-chair's jurisdiction.

Instead, it's Universal's Katherine Pope who is taking the heat for the canceled shows, and for Heroes lackluster ratings. And Silverman is actually getting praised for his work at NBC, despite the fact that none of the shows he's brought on this season *cough*KNIGHT RIDER*cough* seem to be doing all that great either.

In fact, one network insider actually praised Silverman, saying, "The company is very happy with Ben. He is deep in negotiations to re-up his contract with NBC, and he has the network up 50 percent profit from year to year."

Buh-what? Somewhere inside of this smarmosaurus' mansion, there is a secret picture of Silverman's career that keeps aging and getting more and more hideous. There is no other reasonable explanation for how he keeps himself under Jeff Zucker's good graces despite his obvious incompetence and poor scheduling choices.

Katherine Pope had this coming…afterall she put out plenty of negative pr on silverman and his hag faced flunky teri "the shrew-jew" weinberg. Teflon Zucker is untouchable. Pope is prettier then most of the chick actresses out there and if you're an old spinster like Weinberg it's gotta be a thorn in her emaciated side. Silverman and Zucker "make" money by cutting costs, firing lousy execs and going right to series on awful shows along with plenty of product placement. Gee..I thought great TV execs make money by putting new shows on the air that the public goes crazy for and that run for years and make a fortune in syndication…in pertuity. But hey..what do I know.
