Someone, Please, Tell Us: When Is It Judith's Turn to Cry?

When Judith Regan was fired on Friday night – a story we broke while News Corp. types were enjoying their annual holiday fete – everyone was abuzz with what was going to happen in the fall out: Was Regan holed up in a bunker? Was Rupert afraid he made the wrong decision? Was O.J. Simpson really making par at Pebble Beach?

But if you thought Judith Regan was at the losing end of this battle, we'll let her attorney speak on the matter: "She's not going to take this lying down." That's right kids: In just a few days, Regan and counsel Bert Fields will be filing a wrongful termination lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., promising to drag this media spectacle into the weeks and months to come. Hoorah! But no, Jew revelers, don't think this suit will ruin Hannukah: the papers will be filed after the holiday.

And while Regan bides her time by flipping through Jenna Jameson's chapter on mechanical bull riding, News Corp. is looking at another lawsuit to take part in — courtesy, indirectly, Regan.

Ron Goldman's family yesterday filed a federal civil suit with the aim of finding out how the proceeds from ReganBooks' If I Did It were going to be paid out – something about a shell corporation – to keep Juice from officially earning any income and, thus, having to pay that wrongful death sum.

Which means in the months to come, we might be looking forward to Rupert taking the stand in two cases — which Fox News will certainly deem worthy of covering, we're sure.
