Oh hey, it's the Graham from My So Called Life! Rad, I loved that guy. Best dad ever. Although oddly enough, Tom Irwin's IMDB remains suspiciously devoid of any Lost cameos. This is a bigger mystery than that whole hatch thing!
Also, I don't watch this show but *spoiler alert* they got off the island? That seems dumb.
You can't really judge something as "dumb", when you don't watch the show. When you've seen all the episodes or, at the very least, last season, you'd get while only SOME of the characters are off the island.
My, aren't we touchy! But yeah, it's pretty dumb. The writers are kinda just making it up as they go along. I thought everybody knew that by now?
Its not a spoiler alert. They got off the island last season. This season is all about getting some of them back to the island
You know what? A bunch of us–including writers, actors, directors, film directors–have watched this show and are completely puzzled as to why it's a hit. It's overwrought, overdone, its stories are confusing, there is perhaps two or three actual sympathetic characters while the rest are just unentertaining to watch or care about on any level, the multiple sub-plots don't connect and ramble on without any real cohesive sense or entertainment value, the show is generally difficult to watch, and it just gets tiring to see self-absorbed, self-centered egomaniacs and obvious psychos yell and scream at each other week after week. Bottom line: It's one big average show, and nothing else. It's time to bring it to an end, soon. The girl in this video is beautiful–but she deserves a much better show. Let's bring "Lost" to an end, and get on with another, better show in that time slot. And Abrams? Please–take a much-needed rest!
I was just going to cosign what Missy said…
But then I read Front Page's comments and HAD to respond. People love the show because it's not all of the things that you think makes a great show. There's no cohesion AWESOME, no predictability FANTASTIC, and it leaves you hanging at every bend with those pesky things you call multiple subplots. Lost is everything that modern television lacks and I wish there were more shows that could capture that "script on the fly" feeling. I can't predict where this show is going and that's PRECISELY what makes it a stand out, addictive hour of television.
