Star has had her run on T.V. Star is a racist bitch. I remember when she said she would never be a guest star on FRIENDS unless they added a black regular on the show. She said the show was too white for her. (as if they would even ask her to be on the show)

Well, First off, let me preface this with I was never a big Star fan BUT, after watching how this is, and has been playing out, it looks as though ABC is counting on Ms. Walter's likability factor to play a role. Star is an attorney and KNOWS the law therefore, she's NOT going to go about doing things illegaly. ABC knows this and cannot get around it. From what I've heard and, if it's true, Ms. Walter's knew in Nov that ABC wanted to fire Star and THEY wanted HER to do the dirty deed. She refused. This apparently drug on til April. Hmmm….Star kept QUIET through ALL of the BS to include the whole Rosie dilemma. Because she chose to end things her way, with the TRUTH, not their way, with a LIE, she BETRAYED them !!! ?????? Nope, she just called them out to be accountable. Now, why is is JOY is allowed to be the bigotted B*$#H who gets to stay ???? Oh that's right, she's Jewish AND in the Entertainment industry. Overall, ABC looks to me like they're trying to let Ms. Walters be the BAD guy(WoMAN) here.

Lastly, Mr. King was a GENUINE ASS to Star because I'm sure, of his close relationship with Ms. Walter's. She was a trooper which in turn made Mr. King look MORE RUDE and CONDECENDING than I have EVER seen him. I will NEVER watch him again!!!! Also, because of how ABC has handled this whole debacle, I WILL be changing to the TODAY show for Meredith in Sept. and, the View has 1 less viewer.

OK so ABC gave Star the boot, big deal..Nothing new just the same stuff different time…I must confess at some point i did like her,When she first went on the view she seem to be okay for a while..But as soon as marriage came into the picture she started her diva attitude..She may have a law degree and all,but it wasnt until tv gave her a break she be came popular, and suddenly everything changed..

I believe that Star Jones handled the situation her way so that she could leave with her own sense of dignity. Through this entire process she has been respectful to those involved… even those undeserving. She has never responded to Rosie O’Donnell’s ugly and damaging remarks in a negative manner. She has done nothing but say positive things about Barbara Walters. I have religiously watched the view for years; I have now completely been turned off. I have not watched the view since Meredith’s and Star’s departures. I believe star deserves a public apology and that the attacks on her should stop. I'm glad Star is gone and I don't think she did it her way in order to save diginity. She can't have much of that left anyway. I have much more respect for Star then I will ever have for Rosie. She seems to take every opportunity she has to bad mouth others. I think it is very ironic for someone that advocates for gay marriages and different lifestyles to be so intolerant of any one that doesn't think or act like they do. She criticized Star for not saying how she lost weight and accused her of trying to hide how she really lost weight, but for years on her show Rosie never mentioned her live in lover and that she was in fact a woman or the fact they were raising children TOGETHER. For years she pretended to have an infatuation with Tom Cruise. This is the same person criticizing star for keeping certain things in her private life secret.

I watched Rana Walker on "Starting Over" and the Discovery Health Channel documentary, "Health Cops: Sentenced to Health" and her compassion and genuine concern shone through in every encounter with the women she coached. You could tell she really cared about them and wanted each woman to have a second chance at going after their dreams. Rana would change "The View" for the better.

I did not like Star in the end ,but she had little to do with the imminent demise of the View…They had "jumped the shark" for quite some time now.Bringing on the whale rider Rose has just put another nail in its coffin.Joy is crass, Rosie is a loud mouth , Elizabeth is an opinionated one idea person and Barbara is an old bag whose STAR is on the wane.Not a great combination / recipe for success!!
