These are pages from the current issue of Star, otherwise known as Bonnie Fuller's attempt to turn the rag into a "blogazine." Taking a cue from the likes of Pink Is The New Blog and Perez Hilton, Bonnie (and, ahem, EIC Joe Dolce) had the grand idea to make their print tabloid more webby, incorporating that sassy attitude that makes celeb gossip blogs so popular. (Or so the kids tells us.) So what'd we end up with?

This crap. Apparently, Star staffers are your new best friends. Who needs self-promoting style experts when you can have j-school grads with dreams of Vanity Fair futures popping up in the pages with smartass poses and seventh-grade opinions?
