Stupid Boycotts Against Botox

"I don't know why women do Botox," actress Julianne Moore told Britain's Observer, a quote which was promptly picked up by international media and formulated into a full blown news item, as these things often are. "You are not going to look the same as you did at 25. What are you going to do about it?" This, from a woman pictured like this:

You can practically see the needle marks.

I see no problem. With that facial expression no one under 60 has any wrinkles. If she was smiling, we could see if she used Botox or not. But even then, no magazine cover goes to print without airbrushing. I'm glad they didn't retouche the freckles on her arm.

Why do so many people like her? She takes herself too seriosuly and she plays virtually the same character in every movie (the poor suffering martyr). She ruined Lives of Men for me.

i work with photoshop for a living. that image was heavily retouched, though it was executed very well. but i do love her, and who the fuck cares if people do botox? half of the people *i* know over 40 do it and i am a middle class nobody.
