It doesn't matter what his father's citzenship was, if he was born in the US (and Hawaii was a state in 1961) he would be an American, not British, citizen. I was born in America, but my parents were not, and I am a United States citizen.

The Supreme Court is not taking leads from Bloggers. It's hearing about a case appealed from a lower federal court. The bloggers are taking leads from the people who filed those previous lawsuits.

The Obama campaign have never released a copy of Obama's certificate of birth. They have released a copy, possibly an altered copy, of what appears to be Obama's Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth (COLB). And to that document they have attributed more authority than it really has.

See the line that says "prima facie evidence"? That means it stands only until any contrary material evidence, such as credible testimony, comes along. Obama's African relatives have given videotaped testimony that Obama was born in their presence, in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1961. That testimony overrides the "prima facie" status of Obama's COLB because it is known that Hawaii has issued COLB's to babies born abroad.

So the Supreme Court is deciding today whether the matter of a President-Elect's questionable US citizenship is important enough that they must look into the matter further.

His Mother was an American citizen so he should be an American citizen as well. It doesn't matter where he was born. Where was Palin born in Alaska which is a fake state like Hawaii, haha.

McCain is actually more complicated than you're making it out to be - he wasn't born on a US military base, he was born in the Panama Canal Zone where his father was stationed. At the time, being born there didn't make you a US citizen, Congress passed a law 3 years after McCain was born making person born there since it was established citizens, but since that law was passed after McCain was born, that, by definition, makes him a naturalized citizen, a citizen by act of law. But this is nitpicking the intent of the founders, and fringe politics at it's worst - regardless of which of them won, each with their questionable details, they would have been sworn in.

The Electoral College, etal, & Secretary’s of State, with the help of any of the following; FBI, CIA, Secret Service, Attorney General, Justice Department, etc., must exercise Due Diligence in verifying the minimum requirements, specifically “Natural Born American”, to occupy the office of President of the United States of America.
As of yet this has not been accomplished.

A “certificate of live birth” on a web site is no proof or substitute for an original qualifying “Birth Certificate” and other records such as his College applications, etc., in the hands of the Supreme Court Justices.
Under normal circumstances with no question of a candidate’s qualification, this check is essential.
In this circumstance with many conflicting statements about his Birthplace and life history, it would be uncontainable to allow this man into office without prior verification!
Ascertaining his citizenship and scrutiny of these other disqualifying events in his life are of utmost importance:
1 Relinquishing us citizenship, as a result of conditions required to attend school in Indonesia.
2 Becoming “Naturalized” when returning to the U.S. upon leaving Indonesia.
3 Not becoming “Naturalized” when returning to the U.S. upon leaving Indonesia, thus becoming an illegal alien.
4 Visiting Pakistan when American Citizens were not allowed.
