Law & Order: SV-Screw-U. That's how NBC is gearing its negotiations with SVU stars Mariska "Suddenly Hot" Hargitay and Chris "Does Full Frontal" Meloni.
Eight years strong, pulling in impressive Nielsens, and earning Emmy attention doesn't seem to be enough to win favor with NBC, which has its attention turned to cost cutting rather than pay raises. Fox 411's Roger Friedman says talks have stalled between the show's stars and the network, with The Peacock supposedly ready to say goodbye to its Tuesday night primetime draw and let the show fold entirely if the twosome aren't willing to keep their requests small.
Or, as you might expect, this is all a well-played ploy by the stars' reps to generate press about the contract negotiations and pressure Jeff Zucker & Co. to cave.
The show is great don't mess that up!!

Are they insane? Or just plain stupid? They get rid of them, then they're in BIG trouble!
What about the other actors as well? I wonder how they feel about all of this?
If Chris and Mariska go, I go. And not only that, I won't watch any other NBC shows. In fact, I'm boycotting House and Bones because of the X-files contract negotiations between Fox and X-files creator Chris Carter. I mena buisness and I know about a thousand other viewers who will be just as pissed at DICK and NBC.
PS- if mariska and chris don't make deals, I'll never watch anything else with them in it, those greedy monoey grubbing bastards.
