Mel Gibson isn’t the only person interested in Britney Spears‘ love life as of late: TMZ has been keeping tabs on the pop star and her secret rendezvous with a mystery man. Sadly, that mystery man is all too recognizable — it’s Adnan Ghalib, former paparazzo and Spears hanger-on.
TMZ’s “sources” have reported that over the last few months Adnan has been entering the gated community where Brit and father Jamie live, but no one can say exactly what’s going on. But we can! Adnan missed the spotlight, Britney missed her enabler, and it was time for a special reunion. And yes, there are text messages involved.
Adnan Ghalib and Kathy Griffin went shopping at Victoria’s Secret on Rodeo Drive yesterday. If you can’t tell it’s a set-up, then you are beyond hope.
Who didn’t see this coming? Amanda Pagel, the waitress/model/former girlfriend of Make Me a Supermodel’s Perry, is speaking out about Adnan Ghalib and insisting she didn’t steal him from Britney Spears.
Amanda says she met Adnan through a mutual friend in January, and the two kept their relationship private — with him making frequent trips to her house — so as to not upset Britney.
Nothing quite says “I’m concerned about Britney Spears and her health” like giving an exclusive to Access Hollywood. And Adnan Ghalib is obviously very concerned.
We can’t figure out who tracked down whom at the Ed Hardy fashion show in LA; both parties are obviously very desperate for credibility. It doesn’t really matter who initiated it, though, as long as the interview is awesome.

That "mystery man" who so graciously drove Britney Spears home from the UCLA Medical Center? Turns out, he's a member of Britney's biggest fan club: the paparazzi. Photo agency Bauer-Griffin is floating photos like this one around, naming the gentleman "Felipe." He's the one who got in her black Mercedes after she gave booted her security detail from the driver's seat. No word on which agency he belongs to, but common sense would suggest he's a member of B-G's crew. Which must piss off X17. Though don't worry, she's already back in the unsafe hands of Finalpixxx's Adnan Ghalib.

Says he: "I work in 'the' industry in Los Angeles, and I know many of my friends use these products. Thought this would be an interesting opportunity to reveal the truth to many men worldwide."
So, Adnan, what is the truth? Meth, or bi-polar disorder?
If you've been reading our Britney Spears coverage, then today's item in Page Six is of little surprise: Britney "calls the paparazzi before she goes out. We know 15 minutes before she leaves the house," Brazilian paparazzo Alison Silva says. "It's all staged."
Silva, of course, is most famous for getting run over by Keanu Reaves' black Porsche last year. (Silva ended up in the hospital. Reeves ended up handcuffed, investigated by the LAPD, and sued.)
But Britney's collusion with the paparazzi has long been talked about inside the industry, as well as on this blog. Not only did her relationship with Finalpixxx's Adnan Ghalib result in photos worth hundreds of thousands of dollars (which Spears likely saw none of), but she's also said to be paid by pap agency X17.
And, just taking a guess, but Britney's probably not the only one who's got photogs on speed dial.

The symbiotic relationship between Britney Spears and ethically challenged paparazzi agency X17 continues this week, with the pop fart inviting the agency's photogs into her home to TELL ALL about her relationship with Adnan Ghalib, the lensmen from rival agency Finalpixxx that padded his pocket with sales of photos snapped while the twosome dated.
Late Sunday night, Britney's manager Sam Lufti opened his client's doors to two photogs from X17, which is said to pay Spears under the table to secure exclusive access to her. Though no cameras were allowed, the late night champagne party chatted about how, after a month of dating and buying pregnancy tests together, the duo have ended their relationship … and celebrated with an alleged restraining order.
Though the LAPD says it has yet to receive any request to require Ghalib to keep his distance, Britney's camp insists they're taking the legal route to ensure he stays away.
And how might a restraining order help Britney's relationship … with X17? It potentially could keep competitor Finalpixxx away from their prized subject, since the agency's star paparazzo would be under court order to back off. Or at least use a telephoto lens.
